About Me
I am a results-driven ICT professional with progressive experience in Systems Administration, Network Administration, ICT Infrastructure Management, Technical Support, Cybersecurity, and eLearning Systems.
 I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information System and Technology from Uganda Technology and Management University and have developed my career through hands-on experience in institutional ICT environments, network engineering, systems administration, and E- Learning Systems.
My professional journey has provided me with broad practical exposure to the design, implementation, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of ICT infrastructure.Â
I have experience administering Windows and Linux server environments, Active Directory, user access management, DNS, DHCP, network infrastructure, backup and recovery systems, and basic firewall and network security controls.
I have also supported the management of institutional ICT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, networking equipment, enterprise applications, email systems, and user accounts.
My experience includes providing first- and second-level technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software and network challenges, implementing ICT security measures, monitoring system performance, and supporting business continuity through structured backup and recovery processes.
My earlier experience as a Network Engineer strengthened my capabilities in network design and implementation, routing and switching, firewall configuration, DNS, DHCP, network monitoring, troubleshooting, firmware management, and coordination of network infrastructure projects.
I continuously seek to expand my knowledge and adapt to emerging technologies, with interests spanning systems administration, networking, cybersecurity, software development, ICT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and digital solutions.
Current Position
I currently serve as an Acting Head of ICT Services Department at Universal Technology and Management University (UTAMU), a position I have held since November 2024. In this role, I administer Windows and Linux servers, manage Active Directory and user authentication, monitor system performance and server resources, implement backup and disaster recovery procedures, apply system security controls, manage server-room operations, and coordinate infrastructure upgrades and maintenance with vendors and internal stakeholders.
My current role builds on my previous experience as an ICT Officer at UTAMU, where I managed institutional ICT infrastructure, supported network operations, administered user accounts and systems, provided technical support, and contributed to ICT security, backup, disaster recovery, and user training.
